Responsibilities:
Develop and review mechanical system designs for HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems
Prepare design documents including drawings, specifications, BOQs, and calculation reports
Perform heat load calculations, pump head calculations, duct/pipe sizing, and equipment selection
Ensure designs comply with Qatar Construction Standards (QCS) and international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, IPC, etc.)
Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and material approvals
Conduct site inspections and provide technical solutions to design-related issues
Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and other engineering teams
Participate in client and consultant meetings to clarify design requirements
Support tendering activities with technical evaluations and cost estimation

Requirements:
Grade A UPDA / MMUP Certification (mandatory)
Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical design and consultancy
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master s preferred)
Proficiency in mechanical design software such as HAP, Elite, AutoCAD, Revit, etc.
Strong understanding of international mechanical standards and Qatar construction guidelines
Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
