Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and review HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical systems.

  • Prepare shop drawings, technical submittals, BOQ, and material specifications.

  • Coordinate with architects, electrical engineers, civil teams, and contractors for smooth project execution.

  • Monitor site installation activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and standards.

  • Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of MEP systems.

  • Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, safety standards, and project requirements.

  • Review contractor progress and provide technical support during project execution.

  • Attend project meetings and prepare technical reports.

  • Evaluate material submittals and approve technical documentation.

  • Coordinate with procurement teams for equipment and material selection.

  • Ensure timely completion of projects within budget and quality standards.

  • Maintain project documentation, as-built drawings, and maintenance records

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  • Minimum 3–8 years of experience in MEP projects.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and ventilation systems.

  • Experience in high-rise, commercial, industrial, or modular construction projects preferred.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, and MS Office.

  • Knowledge of local authority regulations and international standards.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience in BIM coordination.

  • Knowledge of energy-efficient systems and sustainability practices.

  • Familiarity with project management tools and ERP systems.

  • Ability to prepare technical reports and presentations.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and site activities effectively
