Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance, installation, and operation of oil and gas equipment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Manage procurement processes, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations that include engineering activities.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver engineering and logistics projects on schedule.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and performance metrics.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Mechanical Engineer with solid expertise in supply chain and logistics.
- Experienced in oil and gas operations and skilled in equipment handling, procurement, and logistics management.
- Preferably from UAE or India and ready to relocate for a 2–3-year assignment in Accra, Ghana.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in project management, coordination of vendors, overseeing logistics processes.
- Familiarity with international work permits, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage multi-year assignments and lead cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability to new cultural and work environments.
- Strategic acumen in vendor management, contract negotiation, and optimizing logistics for cost efficiency and reliability.
- Exceptional liaison skills with stakeholders at all levels including boardroom presentations.
