Mechanical HVAC Engineer - Site Execution (Data Centres)

Supervise day-to-day site execution of HVAC and mechanical works for data centre projects.

Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and technical submittals before execution.

Coordinate installation of CRAH/CRAC units, FAHUs, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and associated equipment.

Monitor installation of chilled water piping, condenser water piping, refrigerant copper piping, and drainage systems.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, client standards, and approved shop drawings.

Coordinate with electrical, ELV, civil, and architectural teams to resolve interface issues.

Plan and monitor manpower deployment, productivity, and work sequencing to meet project schedules.

Verify equipment positioning, supports, clearances, and maintenance access requirements.

Supervise pressure testing, flushing, cleaning, and commissioning preparation activities.

Ensure proper installation of ductwork, insulation, vibration isolation systems, and duct accessories.

Review material deliveries and ensure compliance with approved material submittals.

Monitor quality of installation and coordinate inspections with QA/QC teams.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for project management.

Identify site constraints and proactively implement corrective actions to avoid delays.

Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for equipment installation and technical support.

Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and promote safe working practices on site.

Participate in client, consultant, and internal coordination meetings.

Support testing, balancing, commissioning, and integrated systems testing activities.

Maintain accurate records of completed works, inspections, RFIs, and site instructions.

Assist Project Manager in achieving project milestones, handover requirements, and project close-out activities.
