Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Mechanical Inspector will be responsible for inspecting BoP-related mechanical works and ensuring that all installations are completed in accordance with approved drawings, procedures, and project quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect installation works related to BoP systems
- Verify compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and method statements
- Witness site inspections and testing activities
- Identify and report non-conformities and technical deviations
- Support mechanical supervision and contractor coordination
- Maintain clear inspection records and daily field reporting
- Ensure compliance with HSE and QA/QC requirements
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
- Strong exposure to thermal power plant or industrial BoP systems
- Familiarity with field inspection and QA/QC documentation
Preferred Profile
- Experience on utility or energy projects
- Good knowledge of pumps, valves, auxiliaries, and plant support systems
