Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections and tests on mechanical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to verify accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and document deficiencies, non-conformities, and deviations from standards and specifications.
  • Provide recommendations for corrective actions and improvements based on inspection findings.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of inspections and test results.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, codes, and regulations related to mechanical inspection.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical inspection within the [industry] industry.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and document deficiencies.
