Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections and tests on mechanical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to verify accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and document deficiencies, non-conformities, and deviations from standards and specifications.
- Provide recommendations for corrective actions and improvements based on inspection findings.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of inspections and test results.
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, codes, and regulations related to mechanical inspection.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical inspection within the [industry] industry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and document deficiencies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
