Roles & Responsibilities
Job Title: Mechanical Inspector Piping
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Project Type: Large-Scale Thermal Power Plant Project
Mobilization: June 2026
Employment Type: Full-time / Project-Based
The Mechanical Inspector will inspect piping installation activities, monitor quality compliance, and ensure that piping works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect piping fabrication, installation, routing, supports, and associated activities
- Verify compliance with isometrics, drawings, procedures, and specifications
- Witness inspections, pressure tests, and related checks
- Report quality issues, deviations, and non-conformities
- Coordinate with site engineers, welding teams, and contractor representatives
- Support maintenance of inspection records and test reports
- Ensure compliance with HSE and QA/QC requirements
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
- Strong piping inspection experience in thermal power plant or industrial environments
- Good understanding of piping codes, drawings, and field installation practices
