Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed inspections of mechanical components and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
  • Review engineering drawings and specifications to verify that all mechanical parts meet design requirements.
  • Identify and report defects or non-conformities in mechanical systems, documenting findings accurately for quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend corrective actions to enhance performance.
  • Perform regular maintenance inspections and audits on machinery and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed inspection records and reports, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Stay informed about new technologies and industry trends to continuously improve inspection processes and methodologies.
  • Participate in root cause analysis for mechanical failures and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, ensuring a solid foundation in engineering principles.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical inspection in Dubai, demonstrating hands-on expertise in industrial settings.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and schematics, showcasing strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with quality control software and systems, highlighting technical proficiency in inspection methodologies.
  • Fluent in English, with additional language proficiency preferred to facilitate communication in diverse environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities, essential for identifying discrepancies and ensuring quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities, demonstrating resilience in fast-paced environments.
  • Physically capable of performing inspections in various environments, including confined spaces or elevated areas.
