Mechanical Lead Technician

Job Location : Saudi Arabia

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a crew of technicians in performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks.
Receive work orders from planners/supervisors, allocate tasks, and ensure the team has the correct tools, parts, and instructions.
Perform the most skilled mechanical tasks while providing direct guidance and oversight to the team.
Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures (LOTO, PTW, JSA) and quality standards for all work.
Provide daily feedback on job progress, challenges, and completion status to the supervisor.
Conduct toolbox talks and pre-job safety briefings.
Validate the quality of work performed by technicians before job closure.
Assist in the on-the-job training and skill development of junior technicians.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related trade certificate.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, with demonstrated leadership experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance crafts (fitting, machining, rigging, welding basics).
Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
Strong understanding of maintenance work processes and CMMS utilization.
