Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new mechanical systems and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance logs.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize operational disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance activities.
- Support the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and best practices.
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and maintenance supplies,and report requirements for replenishment.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and operators as needed.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Up to 1 year of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably within industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures for mechanical equipment and systems.
- Basic knowledge of diagnostic tools and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices in industrial settings.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work on-site and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the organization.
