Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repairs:

  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance to minimize machine breakdowns.
  • Troubleshoot and repair machinery with a focus on mechanical parts such as gearboxes, bearings, lubricants, motors, and oil.
  • Use vibration analysis devices to monitor the movement of machine parts.

Spare Parts Management:

  • Monitor and control the consumption of spare parts.
  • Ensure the availability of necessary spare parts in the warehouse.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Generate weekly, monthly, and yearly maintenance reports and present them to the maintenance manager.

Installation & Connection:

  • Oversee the installation and connection of new machinery and equipment.
  • Work and draw on SolidWorks for equipment and machinery layouts.

Target Achievement:

  • Work towards achieving the maintenance department's targets and objectives.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in handling mechanical parts such as gearboxes, bearings, lubricants, motors, and oils.
    • Experience with HVAC systems.
    • Ability to use vibration analysis devices.
    • Proficiency in SolidWorks for drawing and designing equipment layouts.
  • Documentation Skills:
    • Ability to prepare ISO documents for the department.
  • Reporting Skills:
    • Capability to prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities.
  • Other Skills:
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience:

  • 4-7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in factories within the FMCG sector.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in factories, particularly in the FMCG industry.

Working Conditions:

  • This position requires working in a factory environment.
  • The candidate must be able to handle mechanical and HVAC systems and follow safety protocols.
