The role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Local National) to join our Iraq Business Unit.


Key accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Support the application of client Policy in relation to the Drug and Alcohol policy, Company Ethics, Award conditions, etc, whilst respecting and protecting the personal rights of subordinates.

Desired Candidate Profile

Expected:

  • Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering, Material Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience specifically in Maintenance, preferably in oil & gas and petrochemical sector.
  • Language English and Arabic Proficiency.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Good awareness in Safety Operations, Risk Assessment, and Best Practice Engineering.
  • Problem Solving
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understand and follow oral and written instructions; prepare clear and concise records, reports and other written materials.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Ability to interact in a multi-cultural environment
  • Demonstrated experience in liaising with third party contractors, business partners and local communities
