Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead mechanical maintenance of truck unloaders, conveyors, stackers, mobile hoppers, and shiploaders.
  • Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
  • Ensure asset reliability, safety, and HSE compliance.
  • Manage and mentor mechanical engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).
  • Optimize equipment performance and maintenance cycles.
  • Coordinate with operations, marine teams, and contractors for smooth terminal operations.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 10+ years in mechanical maintenance in ports, shipping terminals, or heavy industries.
  • 5+ years in leadership / managerial role.
  • Experience with hydraulic & pneumatic systems, rotating equipment, and CMMS/SAP PM.
  • Strong understanding of HSE & statutory compliance.
  • Gulf experience mandatory (Oman / UAE / Saudi preferred).

Education:

  • Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)
  • Certification in Maintenance Management / Reliability Engineering is a plus.
