Maintenance Leadership and Strategy

Lead all mechanical maintenance activities to ensure maximum reliability and availability of bulk handling assets.

Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies for mechanical systems and components.

Prepare and manage the annual mechanical maintenance budget, manpower planning, and spare parts forecasting.

Implement maintenance standards, procedures, and best practices across all mechanical areas.

Define and monitor key maintenance KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, equipment downtime, etc.) and drive performance improvements.

Maintenance Planning and Execution

Ensure strict compliance with Deltas health, safety, and environmental policies.

Conduct risk assessments, job safety analysis (JSA), and toolbox talks before work execution.

Monitor safe execution of mechanical works, including lifting, confined space, and hot work.

Enforce permit-to-work (PTW) and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Ensure adherence to statutory inspection requirements for lifting equipment, pressure systems, and safety devices.

Reliability and Continuous Improvement

Analyze mechanical failure data and lead root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence.

Implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and condition monitoring techniques.

Optimize maintenance cycles and equipment performance through engineering modifications.

Promote continuous improvement culture through innovation and cross department collaboration.

Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve mechanical maintenance efficiency.
