Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine mechanical maintenance and repairs on plant machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical failures and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules and procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and longevity.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of all maintenance work performed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in all maintenance activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in an industrial setting.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance best practices.
Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment.
Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Commitment to safety and compliance with regulations.
