Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed mechanical project schedules, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines and milestones.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to gather input and update project plans as required.
  • Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine resource requirements, sequencing, and critical path activities.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and propose corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports, including status updates, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Assist in the preparation of project budgets, cost estimates, and resource allocation plans.
  • Support risk management efforts by identifying potential issues and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the planning and execution phases.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing technical input and planning expertise to support decision-making.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in mechanical planning or a similar role.
  • Very Good in MS Office and electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
  • Familiarity with project planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
