Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage local and international procurement operations, negotiating with suppliers to secure optimal prices and terms.
- Partner with engineering teams to review and validate technical specifications for materials and equipment.
- Oversee the acquisition of heavy equipment, spare parts, bus components, elevators, and escalators.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and delivery timelines.
- Prepare and present regular procurement performance reports to executive management.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and applicable legal requirements.
- Utilize ERP systems to streamline procurement processes, with strong preference for SAP expertise.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in procurement.
- Strong knowledge of international procurement, import regulations, and supply chain management practices.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while driving strategic procurement initiatives.
