Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Manage and supervise all mechanical construction activities on-site.

  2. Review drawings, specifications, and project documents.

  3. Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and subcontractors.

  4. Plan and monitor site execution to ensure timely completion.

  5. Supervise installation of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.

  6. Ensure compliance with approved shop drawings and standards.

  7. Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.

  8. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

  9. Coordinate material deliveries and site requirements.

  10. Identify technical issues and provide solutions on-site.

  11. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is essential for technical credibility.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical project engineering, preferably in the construction or manufacturing sector.
  • Experience with project management software such as MS Project or Primavera for effective scheduling.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent is highly desirable for enhanced project oversight.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for creating and modifying design drawings.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform complex calculations and simulations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus for international projects.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual responsibilities.
  • A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills to address engineering challenges swiftly.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site project management and inspections as required by project demands.
