Roles & Responsibilities


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical QC Inspector to ensure the quality and compliance of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems with relevant standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will perform inspections during various stages of fabrication, installation, and testing to maintain high-quality standards and ensure safety and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform visual and dimensional inspections of mechanical components, equipment, and systems to verify compliance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
Conduct in-process and final inspections of fabricated and assembled mechanical parts.
Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other instruments to verify tolerances and specifications.
Monitor welding, fitting, and assembly processes to ensure compliance with approved procedures and quality plans.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical datasheets, welding procedures, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
Document and report inspection results, non-conformities, and deviations; initiate non-conformance reports (NCRs) as required.
Coordinate with engineering, production, and QA/QC departments to resolve quality issues.
Ensure all inspection activities are conducted in compliance with applicable codes (e.g., ASME, API, ISO) and customer requirements.
Support internal and external audits as needed.
Ensure proper handling, calibration, and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Mechanical QC Inspector, preferably in oil & gas, manufacturing, fabrication, or construction industries.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, welding standards, and inspection methods.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical documents.
Familiarity with industry codes and standards such as ASME, API, ISO, or AWS.

Experience with quality control documentation and inspection reporting.
Certification such as CSWIP, AWS-CWI, or equivalent is an advantage.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
