Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Supervise and oversee all mechanical works on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards.

  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within overall construction activities.
  • Monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and other mechanical systems.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely and quality completion of mechanical works.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, progress updates, and documentation for all mechanical activities.
  • Review and interpret mechanical drawings, plans, and specifications, providing technical guidance to site teams and subcontractors.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of mechanical materials and equipment.
  • Assist in the preparation of project schedules, resource allocation, and cost estimates related to mechanical works.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing updates on mechanical progress and addressing any technical challenges.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • 2 to 5 years of proven experience in mechanical site engineering within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting installations.
  • Familiarity with local and international mechanical codes and standards.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in using engineering software and MS Office applications.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work on-site and adapt to dynamic project environments.
