Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all mechanical site activities to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met.
Interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and project documents to guide on-site installation and construction.
Monitor and inspect mechanical works, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues.
Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, progress updates, and documentation for project stakeholders.
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems such as HVAC, piping, and fire protection.
Identify and address potential risks or delays, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Ensure all materials and equipment delivered to the site meet project requirements and quality standards.
Facilitate regular site meetings and communicate effectively with team members and external partners.
Support the continuous improvement of site processes and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2 3 years of proven site experience in HVAC & Fire Fighting projects (industrial, commercial, or residential).
Good knowledge of HVAC & Fire Fighting systems, drawings, installation procedures, and commissioning practices.
Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.) is an advantage.
Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems' installation, testing, and commissioning.
Familiarity with safety standards and site regulations in engineering projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit/BIM).
Willingness to work on-site and adapt to changing project requirements.
