Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage mechanical engineering activities at project sites, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other engineers to ensure seamless execution of mechanical installations.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to verify the integrity and performance of mechanical systems.
  • Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, progress updates, and documentation for all mechanical works.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues on-site, providing timely solutions to maintain project timelines.
  • Ensure adherence to project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations for mechanical works.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices across all site activities.
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to coordinate the delivery and installation of mechanical equipment.
  • Support the training and development of junior engineers and site technicians.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 4 to 8 years of proven experience in mechanical site engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage site operations and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to site challenges.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Willingness to work full-time, on-site, and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
