Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

JD:

  • Direct, review, or approve project design changes.
  • Review/approve all shop drawings, method statements, and As Built drawings prepared by the contractor.
  • Present and explain proposals, reports, or findings to clients.
  • Playing a part in project and team management.
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
  • Supervises and motivates performance to Mechanical engineering requirements as per contract.
  • Follow up on the contractor s activities and new problems during work and provide immediate solutions to them.
  • Inspection works and specify the notes to be modified
  • Making a daily report for the resident engineer.
  • Reviewing of occupational safety and health.
  • Coordination with all departments and all necessary trades.
  • Ensuring the quality and approval of the supplied materials, ensuring that samples are taken and approved for testing and certification.
  • Attend and approve all testing and commissioning processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is a must.

8+ years of working experience,, preferably within large-scale projects.

Previous experience in a Consultancy firm is preferable.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
