The Mechanical Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and managing mechanical works at construction or industrial project sites. This includes overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the installation of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, piping, machinery, etc.).
Interpret mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and project plans.
Coordinate with project managers, civil and electrical teams, contractors, and consultants.
Monitor and ensure that site work is executed according to approved designs, specifications, and safety standards.
Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues related to mechanical works.
Review and verify material and equipment deliveries and ensure proper handling and storage.
Support testing and commissioning activities for mechanical systems.
Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
Assist in preparing project schedules, forecasts, and resource planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience in mechanical site supervision (construction, MEP, manufacturing, etc.).
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, and construction practices.
Proficiency in engineering tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Project).
Good understanding of HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systems (if MEP-focused).
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with quality and safety standards (ISO, ASME, OSHA, etc.).
