Job Title: Mechanical Superintendent

Location: (Project Site Saudi Arabia)

Industry: Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical / EPC / Shutdown & Turnaround

Job Summary:

The Mechanical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all mechanical activities at the project site, ensuring execution is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all mechanical construction and installation activities on site
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and safety standards
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other disciplines for smooth execution
• Plan and monitor daily work activities, manpower, and equipment utilization
• Ensure proper installation, alignment, and testing of mechanical equipment
• Review method statements, work procedures, and risk assessments
• Monitor subcontractors and ensure quality and productivity standards are met
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues
• Ensure adherence to HSE policies and conduct toolbox talks
• Track progress and report daily/weekly status to management
• Ensure completion of work within project timelines and budget

Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 6-15 years of experience in mechanical works
• Strong experience in Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical projects
• Mandatory GCC / Saudi Arabia experience (contractor side preferred)
• Experience in Shutdown & Turnaround projects
• Experience in construction, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems
• Familiarity with international standards (API, ASME, Aramco standards preferred)
• Strong leadership and supervisory experience
