Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee all mechanical aspects of pipeline construction, ensuring adherence to project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Manage and coordinate the activities of mechanical crews, including welders, fitters, and technicians, to ensure efficient execution of tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical installations, such as valve stations, pump stations, and pipeline sections, to identify and rectify any defects or deficiencies.
- Review and approve mechanical drawings, calculations, and material requisitions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
Possesses a Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in engineering principles.
Holds relevant certifications such as P.Eng. or equivalent, showcasing professional recognition and commitment to the field.
Demonstrates extensive experience (10+ years) in oil and gas pipeline projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Exhibits a deep understanding of pipeline construction techniques, materials, and industry best practices, ensuring project excellence.
