Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise mechanical maintenance and overhaul activities during outage execution
- Coordinate teams of mechanical technicians and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with HSE, QA/QC and nuclear safety procedures
- Monitor work progress against outage schedules
- Support permit-to-work and shift coordination activities
- Interface with outage coordinators and client representatives
- Ensure proper execution of rotating equipment and mechanical maintenance activities
Mandatory Requirements:
- Minimum 8-10 years of mechanical maintenance experience
- Previous shutdown/refueling outage experience
- Previous supervisory experience within power plant or nuclear environments
- Strong English communication skills
- Experience managing multicultural teams
- Ability to work in high-pressure outage environments
Strongly Preferred:
- Previous Barakah Nuclear Power Plant experience
- APR1400 reactor experience
- GCC nuclear or power generation experience
- Experience supervising rotating equipment and valve-related activities
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 8-10 years of mechanical maintenance experience, previous shutdown/refueling outage experience, previous supervisory experience within power plant or nuclear environments, strong English communication skills, experience managing multicultural teams, and ability to work in high-pressure outage environments. Previous Barakah Nuclear Power Plant experience, APR1400 reactor experience, and GCC nuclear or power generation experience are strongly preferred. Experience supervising rotating equipment and valve-related activities is also preferred.
