Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review mechanical shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical submittals in accordance with project specifications and standards.
  • Coordinate with design, site, and procurement teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within overall project timelines.
  • Analyze project documents, including specifications and BOQs, to identify discrepancies and propose effective solutions.
  • Provide technical support to site engineers and construction teams, addressing mechanical engineering queries and resolving technical issues promptly.
  • Assist in the preparation of material take-offs, cost estimates, and procurement requests for mechanical equipment and materials.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, international standards, and client requirements throughout all project phases.
  • Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize mechanical system designs and reduce project costs without compromising quality.
  • Monitor and track project progress, preparing regular reports and documentation for management and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to clarify technical requirements and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Support the implementation of quality assurance and control procedures for all mechanical works.
