Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Set up and take down test rigs — piping, fittings, seals, plates, and gaskets.
- Make sure gas and water connections are tight and do not leak.
- Tighten bolts to the right torque and change seals when they wear out.
- Help the Mechanical Engineer check if new parts fit well, and give feedback.
- Keep a short build log so the same setup can be rebuilt later.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience as a mechanical technician, pipefitter, or industrial mechanic.
- Knowledge of how to work with pipe fittings, tubing, seals, and plates.
- Ability to read simple mechanical drawings.
- Safe, careful, and happy to learn new things.
- Experience with hydrogen, HHO, or compressed gas systems (nice to have).
- Experience building test rigs or prototypes (nice to have).
- Knowledge of how to leak-check a system (nice to have).
