Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician (Pumps & Motors) to carry out installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pumps and motors, including motor rewinding and bearing replacement, ensuring reliable and safe operation of mechanical systems. The responsibilities will include but not limited to:


  • Maintain and repair centrifugal, submersible, booster, and sump pumps

  • Perform motor bearing replacement, lubrication, and pump–motor alignment

  • Carry out electric motor rewinding, dismantling, reassembly, and basic testing (IR & continuity)

  • Inspect and replace mechanical seals, couplings, impellers, shafts, and bearings

  • Troubleshoot issues such as leakage, vibration, overheating, noise, and performance loss

  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and support flooding‑related pump operations

  • Follow HSE, PTW, and LOTO procedures always

  • Maintain maintenance records and workshop housekeeping

Desired Candidate Profile

  • ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electromechanical

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in gulf country

  • Strong hands‑on experience with pumps and motors

  • Practical knowledge of motor rewinding and bearing handling

  • Basic understanding of motor data, drawings, and safety practices.
