Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical systems, supporting preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring the smooth and safe operation of production machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical equipment, rotating machinery, and production components.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
  • Assist in the installation, alignment, and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
  • Inspect machinery to identify wear, defects, or potential failures.
  • Collaborate with electrical and operations teams to solve cross-functional issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and maintenance reports.

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience in crushing plants, rotary equipment, or waste management/field operations.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs in industrial facilities.
  • Preferably residing in Helwan or within the Greater Cairo area

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, and rotating equipment.
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical faults and perform effective repairs.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand technical documentation.
  • Capable of working independently and within a team.
