Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform technical servicing activities and general equipment maintenance in line with operating procedures and work instructions including A & B service, green carding / post contract assessment & pre-delivery inspection, engine fault finding / repair and preventative maintenance.

Carry out technical troubleshooting and fault diagnostics as required.

Assist with site installation (to designed layout), commissioning and decommissioning to acceptable Aggreko standards if needed.

Respond effectively to technical support of field equipment breakdowns in timely manner in and out of working hours when required.

Ensure the completion of equipment repairs are on time, to standard and within agreed budgets for both specific repairs and overall department budgets.

Adhere to Global Service Centre Standards (GSCS) within working environment at all times.

Desired Candidate Profile

You ll have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering or acceptable equivalent qualifications/experience.

  • At least 1-5 years of experience in the Mechanical field. Experience in the Mechanical field a plus.

  • Experience in operation and maintenance of diesel / gas generators and their axillaries.

  • Minimum 1 to 5 Years of Experience in Diesel Engine OEM, Rental power company or Utility maintenance comprising DG set, chillers etc.

  • Effective troubleshooting capability and ability to read electrical drawings.

  • Availability to travel as and when required.

  • Possession of valid local Driving License as per the need of the business.

  • Site/Depot based job requiring both technical and manual work to be conducted in all weather and terrain.

  • Willing and eligible to work on offshore sites whenever requiredbr>
