Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
THE RESPONSIBILITY WOULD COVER:
- Responsible for carrying out preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance for all mechanical equipment within the oil field facilities. This includes piping systems, static and rotating equipment, ensuring safe, reliable, and continuous plant operation in compliance with company and international standards.
- Execute installation, inspection, and repair of piping systems, flanges, gaskets, supports, and fittings.
- Carry out alignment (shaft & coupling), lubrication, seal replacement, and bearing maintenance.
- Support equipment overhauls, shutdowns, and turnaround activities.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide troubleshooting in a timely manner.
- Assist in equipment commissioning, start-up, and decommissioning.
- Read and interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and manuals.
- Record maintenance activities, inspections, and spare parts usage.
- Follow HSE rules, PTW system, LOTO, and safe work procedures at all times.
- Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety meetings.
- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained in work areas.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS: - Diploma / Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Technology.
- Minimum 3 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in: Oil & Gas.
- Strong experience with piping systems and rotating equipment is mandatory.
