Mechanical Technician Arabian Plastic Industrial Company

JOB PURPOSE:

To perform maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations. The Mechanical Technician is responsible for troubleshooting mechanical problems, executing preventive maintenance, and supporting continuous production with minimal downtime.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Must experienced in THERMOFORMING MACHINES maintenance.

2. Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical systems, machines, and production equipment.

3. Perform preventive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns.

4. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical faults in machinery.

5. Install new machines, components, and mechanical systems as required.

6. Align and calibrate mechanical parts such as shafts, bearings, and gears.

7. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and quality standards.

8. Keep accurate records of repairs, spare parts, and maintenance history.

9. Work with electrical and automation teams to resolve complex issues.

10. Support continuous improvement initiatives in equipment performance.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

•  Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent.

• Technical certification in mechanical systems or maintenance is an advantage.

Experience and Skills

•  2–4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in manufacturing/industrial environments.

• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and rotating equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals.

• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.

• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Knowledge of safety procedures in mechanical maintenance.

• Basic computer and MS Office skills.

• Bilingual (Arabic & English) preferred.
