Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on generators, including oil changes, filter replacements, and belt adjustments, to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in generators, using diagnostic tools and schematics, to identify and rectify faults efficiently.
  • Conduct load testing and performance analysis on generators to assess their operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
  • Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, alternators, and control panels, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Diploma or Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field; a strong foundation is key.
  • Holds relevant certifications, such as a Certified Generator Technician (CGT) or equivalent, demonstrating expertise.
  • Boasts a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in generator maintenance and repair, showcasing practical proficiency.
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of generator operation, including engine types, alternators, and control systems; knowledge is power.
