Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct NDT inspections (UT, RT, MT, PT, VT, etc.) on static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks) and piping systems.
- Interpret and evaluate test results for acceptance or rejection as per applicable standards.
- Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports and records.
- Comply with all safety and quality procedures.
- Collaborate with inspection and maintenance teams to identify and address defects.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of NDT equipment.
- Follow client and project-specific inspection plans and procedures.
Work Experience
Required Qualifications & Competencies:
- Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical or NDT-related field.
- Valid NDT Level II certifications (ASNT, PCN, or equivalent) in at least 2 3 methods (UT, RT, MT, PT preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in NDT, especially on static equipment and piping in oil & gas or petrochemical industry.
- Familiarity with international standards (ASME, API, AWS, etc.).
- Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus
Good to have skills:
- Exposure to Downstream Facilities
- Experience with SharePoint for document management
- Advanced NDT Techniques: Knowledge of PAUT (Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing), TOFD (Time of Flight Diffraction), and Eddy Current Testing (ECT).
- Isometric Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, isometric and fabrication drawings.
- Reporting & Documentation Skills: Proficiency in preparing digital NDT reports and inspection records.
- Computer Literacy: Use of NDT reporting software, MS Office, and data management tools.
