Mechanical Technician Nuclear Refueling Outage Altea Energy

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance activities
• Support dismantling, inspection and reassembly of mechanical equipment
• Assist rotating equipment maintenance teams
• Follow outage procedures and maintenance schedules
• Ensure compliance with HSE and nuclear safety requirements
• Support shutdown and turnaround activities under supervisor guidance

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum 4-6 years of mechanical maintenance experience
• Previous shutdown/refueling outage experience
• Power plant, refinery or heavy industrial background
• Ability to work in shift-based outage environments
• Good English communication skills

Strongly Preferred:

• Previous Barakah Nuclear Power Plant experience
• APR1400 reactor exposure
• GCC power generation experience
• Nuclear outage experience

Internal Sourcing Constraints:

• Prioritize candidates with previous Barakah outage experience
• Prioritize candidates already mobilized in UAE/GCC power projects
• Avoid sourcing candidates from nationalities historically facing Barakah clearance restrictions
• Preferred sourcing regions: India, South Africa, Philippines, Eastern Europe and GCC-based expatriates
