Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Research, write, and edit accurate, audience-appropriate medical content for multiple formats and channels (web pages, blog posts, patient handouts, FAQs, social posts, video scripts, slide decks, and newsletters).
Translate clinical evidence, guidelines, and study results into clear, actionable content for both lay and professional audiences while preserving scientific accuracy.
Develop and maintain medical content libraries, templates, and style guides to ensure consistency in tone, terminology, and citation practices across products and brands.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Clinical, Regulatory, Product, Marketing, Design) to align content with brand voice, product positioning, and compliance requirements.
Support content strategy by proposing topic ideas, content pipelines, and timely responses to emerging medical news or guideline changes.
Prepare citations, references, and evidence summaries; ensure all claims are supported by up-to-date, high-quality sources.
Assist in the development and review of scripts and storyboards for educational videos and short-form social content; work with producers to ensure clinical accuracy during production.
Participate in medical and regulatory review processes, incorporate feedback from subject matter experts, and document versioning and approvals.
Optimize content for readability, SEO best practices, and platform-specific requirements while adhering to applicable medical and advertising regulations.
Manage multiple content projects concurrently, meeting deadlines and maintaining high attention to detail and editorial quality.
Track content performance metrics and user feedback to inform iterative improvements and content prioritization.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in a health-related field (e.g., Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health, Biology) or Bachelor s in Communications/Journalism with demonstrable medical writing experience; advanced clinical degree (e.g., RN, PA, PharmD, MD) or formal medical writing certification preferred.
- Proven portfolio of medical or health-related content (articles, patient education materials, scripts, or social content) demonstrating clarity, accuracy, and audience adaptation.
- Legal authorization to work in the hiring country.
