Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Source, evaluate, and procure medical equipment, supplies, and consumables in alignment with Cairoscan s operational needs and quality standards.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure optimal value and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely replenishment of critical medical supplies.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure all purchases comply with regulatory requirements and Cairoscan s internal policies.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with medical, engineering, and administrative teams to understand and fulfill specific procurement requirements.
  • Track and resolve issues related to order discrepancies, delays, or quality concerns.
  • Maintain detailed records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in the procurement process to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Desired Candidate Profile

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in medical purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Familiarity with medical equipment, consumables, and healthcare procurement processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
