A Medical Receptionist is a crucial part of the healthcare team, serving as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. Responsibilities

- Organize medical charts and ensure the confidentiality of patient information.
- Handle billing and insurance questions, offering assistance to patients as needed.

- Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area.
- Collect copayments and manage financial transactions with accuracy.
- Manage office inventory, ordering supplies when necessary.
- Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals as required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical or customer service setting preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and basic healthcare processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to Multitask and remain calm under pressure in busy environments.
- Knowledge of medical software programs and office equipment usage.
