Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit medical record requests for law firm clients

  • Send requests via fax, email, or ROI portals

  • Call hospitals and clinics to follow up on pending requests

  • Handle delays, ask questions, and escalate issues when necessary

  • Track request status and maintain accurate documentation

  • Provide updates to clients (law firms) when needed

  • Review received records to ensure they are complete and organized

  • Maintain confidentiality of all medical information

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 2 years experience in medical records retrieval (preferably for law firms or legal cases)

  • Experience communicating with medical facilities, hospitals, or ROI departments

  • Familiar with ROI portals such as ChartSwap, MRO, Sharecare, CIOX, or similar

  • Strong phone communication skills and ability to confidently follow up

  • Excellent organization and documentation skills

  • Experience using case management systems, spreadsheets, and tracking tools

  • Understanding of HIPAA compliance and handling sensitive medical information (PHI)


Technical Requirements

  • Internet speed minimum 20 Mbps

  • Noise-canceling headset

  • Fast computer

  • Power and internet backup


Compensation & Schedule

  • Rate: $4.50 per hour

  • Schedule: Full-time, during US business hours (EST/PST)
