Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Medical Field Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing a team of sales representatives in the promotion and sale of medical products. The supervisor ensures that the sales team is well-trained, well-informed, and compliant with healthcare regulations while achieving sales goals and fostering relationships with healthcare providers, institutions, and key opinion leaders in the medical field.

Education & Years of Experience

Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemistry or Biology preferably and an MBA degree is a plus

8+ years experiences in pharmaceutical field

Languages

Effective communication skills in Arabic, English or French

Computer Knowledge

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

Competencies and skills

In-depth understanding of the medical products including their clinical benefits, features, and usage.

Ability to explain complex medical products to healthcare professionals in clear and simple terms.

Knowledge of the medical sales cycle and protocols for working with healthcare providers

Competence in using CRM systems to track sales performance, customer interactions, and reporting.

Ability to analyze sales data to identify trends, track KPIs, and adjust strategies accordingly.

Strong leadership skills to guide, motivate, and inspire a team of field sales representatives.

Capacity for coaching and mentoring sales team members, helping them to develop professionally and personally.

Ability to motivate and empower medical sales representatives to exceed targets while ensuring compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations.

Skill in managing difficult customer situations or escalations in a professional and constructive manner.

Skilled in networking, establishing trust, and influencing decision-makers in a highly regulated environment.

Strong negotiation skills to close deals, handle objections, and manage pricing and contract discussions with healthcare providers or organizations.

Strong awareness of the competitive landscape in the medical field and an understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and emerging medical technologies.

Duties & responsibilities

Set and achieve sales targets at desirable share of market in collaboration with Sales and Marketing Director Control and monitor implementation of sales strategies and tactics and provide feedbacks

Set Marketing strategies for each product and liaising with suppliers for marketing support

Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional materials and activities

Plan and execute all communications and media actions on all channels, including online and social media, brochures to establish and maintain product branding



Identify new opportunities for corporate marketing and promote as appropriate

Conduct Market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products

Determine and Control budget / expenses in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing Director

Manage and oversee return on investment (ROI) reports on monthly basis based on the research and marketing strategy and presenting to the Sales and Marketing Director

Attend conferences, seminars and business meetings as needed

Select and interview potential candidates

Organize specific orientation to ensure adequate integration of the new employee

Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members and set development plan accordingly

Deliver trainings as needed

Follow up on daily basis with each member to ensure the completion of the daily tasks: make the requested number of calls (DrS+ Pharmacies), getting orders, and solving objections presented by customers, target achievement

Join the medical representatives in the field on double visits to provide in field coaching

Conduct sales meeting with the team

Maintain contact with key accounts to build long term relationships

Solve complaints as needed

Prepare reports as needed

Ensure compliance with all internal procedures, policies and requirements and serve as a role model to team member

Performs other related duties as assigned
