• Reports To: Clinical Charge Nurse / Team Manager
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, utilizing specialized tools to evaluate patients' needs and determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Administer medications and monitor their effects, ensuring patient safety and educating them about their prescribed regimens.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques to facilitate patient recovery and promote coping mechanisms.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to address each patient's unique challenges.
• Manage and de-escalate crisis situations, employing effective communication and intervention strategies to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records, adhering to ethical and legal standards of practice.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic and integrated patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of mental health services.
• Advocate for patients' rights and well-being, ensuring they receive compassionate and respectful care within the healthcare system.
