Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Objectives:
Design and deliver a series of short, practical, and engaging awareness sessions on the mental and psychological health of manual laborers, to support improved productivity, safety, and overall harmony in the work environment.
Scope of work:
The expert will:
Prepare a concise session plan tailored to manual laborers with different educational levels.
Design and deliver interactive sessions (1 to 1.5 hours per session) covering the following key topics:
What is mental health? Understanding the concept in a simple, everyday way.
How does psychological well-being directly affect:

Focus and attention
Risk of errors and workplace accidents
Absence and ineffective presence
Why are emotions considered part of the "work tools" and why do they affect performance?
Practical strategies for managing stress, anxiety, and fatigue.
Simple and realistic self-care tips to support everyday well-being.
Using participatory and practical training methods appropriate for manual labor, including near-real-life examples and simple exercises.
Providing brief feedback on the general observations and recommendations following the implementation of the sessions.
Ensuring that the content is culturally appropriate, non-stigmatizing, and compliant with workplace wellbeing standards.
Outputs:
Session plan and training materials (e.g., presentations, worksheets, or simple visual aids).
Implement all specified sessions (1 to 1.5 hours per session).
A short closing note including:
Main topics raised by participants
Worker engagement level
Common pressures or challenges
Recommendations to support ongoing well-being
Duration and number of sessions:
Each awareness session lasts from 1 to 1.5 hours.
The total number of sessions will be determined and scheduled based on operational working conditions.
Application requirements:
Advanced degree in psychology, mental health, counseling, or a related field.
At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of psychological well-being, psychosocial support, occupational health, or occupational safety.
Proven experience working with manual labor or diverse groups of adults.
Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts into practical guidelines.
Proven training skills using interactive teaching methods for adults.
Selection and evaluation criteria:
Applicants will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
Experience in mental health or psychosocial support
Experience working with manual laborers or similar categories
Experience in work environments or occupational safety
Session design quality
Practicality and simplicity of the content
Appropriateness of methods to the target group
Training and communication skills
