Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other trade models to identify and resolve clashes.
- Develop and update 3D models of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems using Revit or other BIM tools.
- Interpret MEP drawings and specifications to accurately model systems.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and incorporate changes as required.
- Produce shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built models as needed.
- Maintain model accuracy and data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure compliance with design intent and project standards.
- Maintain project documentation and file organization as per company BIM standards.
- Assist in creating and maintaining BIM families and content libraries.
Desired Candidate Profile
Key Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or relevant technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in MEP modeling using Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and components.
- Experience working on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and BIM collaboration tools (e.g., BIM 360, Navisworks Manage).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
