Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the commercial performance of multiple MEP projects, ensuring alignment with company financial objectives
Hold full P&L responsibility for the MEP division, driving profitability and managing financial risk
Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximise project margins and operational efficiency
Manage all aspects of contract administration, including claims, variations, disputes, and negotiations
Oversee procurement strategy and subcontractor management, ensuring value for money and compliance
Provide accurate cost forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting to senior leadership
Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities across projects
Lead, mentor, and develop commercial teams including Commercial Managers and Quantity Surveyors
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
Collaborate closely with project directors and senior management to drive overall business performance
Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and company governance requirements
Support business growth through tendering, bid strategy, and commercial input on new opportunities
Desired Candidate Profile
Proven experience as a Senior Commercial Manager within a leading MEP contractor
Strong track record managing large-scale, complex MEP projects in the UAE or GCC
Demonstrated experience with full P&L responsibility
In-depth knowledge of FIDIC and other standard forms of contract
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related discipline
Professional membership (e.g., RICS) is preferred
