Roles & Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities

The MEP Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works at site to ensure proper integration with civil and architectural activities. The role ensures execution as per drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

  • Review MEP drawings and ensure coordination with civil and architectural drawings.
  • Identify and resolve clashes between MEP services and structural elements.
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams for smooth project execution.
  • Supervise installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, and ELV systems.
  • Monitor site progress and ensure MEP works are completed as per project schedule.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with approved drawings.
  • Raise RFIs for technical clarifications when required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations.
  • Attend coordination meetings and provide progress updates.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Support testing & commissioning activities.
