Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate between with Civil Contractor for MEP related working at site.
  • Review MEP Coordination drawings, construction details, material samples, inspection plans, methods statements, long-lead items delivery schedules to confirm compliance with the requirements of the project.
  • Review the weekly reports, forward work plans and daily reports to verify comprehensive activity documentation.
  • Ensure a harmonious working relationship between the Contractor and the Consultants, understanding that open communication and team work are to be promoted and that an adversarial management style will be detrimental to the project.
  • Maintaining detailed records of technical developments, changes and variations.
  • Coordinate and monitor all the MEP clearance related to civil works and ensure timely completion of MEP activities.
  • Ensure that the quality of material and installation of work is in accordance with the acceptance criteria identified as per project specifications
  • Monitor and pursue the receipt of all drawings and documents from the Engineer for project.
  • Committed to HSE requirements and all applicable legislations and contractual requirements affecting the HSE activities at project site and administrative offices.
  • Ensure that the work is completed in accordance with the approved method statements and in a safe manner.
  • Issue instructions to the Supervisors to complete the work in accordance with Project Planning schedules and allocating resources
  • Monitor all Sub-Contractors work closely to ensure that the Quality of the work is as per specification and is completed on time
  • Material equipment and manpower management.
  • Conduct meetings with site staff to organize work on day to day basis.
  • Carryout all the duties and tasks as may be assigned to you by Project Manager and the Management from time to time.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 15- 20 years of relevant experience in relevant field.
  • Industry preferred: MEP Contracting industry
