Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare detailed MEP drawings including:
HVAC layouts (ducting, chilled water piping, ventilation systems)
Plumbing and drainage layouts
Firefighting and fire alarm systems
Electrical layouts (lighting, power, cable routing)
Equipment installation details
Sections, elevations, and coordinated shop drawings
Develop and modify 2D drawings using AutoCAD.
Create and update 3D models using BIM (Revit preferred).
Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
Coordinate with architects, structural teams, and MEP engineers to ensure seamless integration.
Prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and applicable standards.
Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimation when required.
Desired Candidate Profile
Strong proficiency in:
AutoCAD (2D drafting)
BIM / Revit (3D modeling & coordination)
Navisworks (clash detection and model review)
Good understanding of MEP systems and construction practices.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and design intent.
Knowledge of relevant codes and standards is an advantage
