Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
·
- Prepare detailed MEP drawings (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) using AutoCAD
- Coordinate with engineering teams to develop accurate layouts
- Modify drawings based on design updates or site conditions
- Maintain drawing logs and revision history
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) models using Revit or similar BIM software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards.
- Create and manage BIM families for MEP components, incorporating manufacturer specifications and design requirements to build a comprehensive library.
- Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to resolve design conflicts, ensuring seamless integration of MEP systems within the architectural framework.
- Produce construction documents, including drawings, schedules, and specifications, that accurately reflect the coordinated MEP design.
Desired Candidate Profile

- Possesses a Diploma degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent command of AutoCAD and reading technical drawings
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit.
- Proficient in BIM in an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Demonstrates 3+ years of experience in MEP drafting and BIM modeling, with a focus onconstruction projects.
- Proficient in Revit MEP and other BIM software
- Displays excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with engineers, architects, and contractors.
- Demonstrates a proactive attitude and a strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Shows a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work, from modeling to documentation.
- Demonstrates a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry advancements.
